Children Are Encouraged To Explore Their Own World!
We seek to provide each child with a supervised, secure, safe and nurturing environment. Our environment encourages social, intellectual, emotional and physical development. Our program provides the necessary balance of activities: teacher planned activities and supervised free play initiated by the child. Children are encouraged to explore their own world. We provide them with stimulating experiences and materials, which in turn, develop their curiosity and eagerness to learn.
Our staff help children learn the limits of their behavior and develop their interpersonal relationships and group skills. Confidence in their abilities is encouraged and enhanced through their interaction with their peer group, individuals and teachers, who are also their friends. All teachers are on a first name basis, so the feeling of a truly personal bond between child and teacher can develop.
All children are greeted with warmth and love… we begin and end each day in this manner.
We try to obtain our goals through helping the children realize:
- Feelings of positive self-worth
- Discovery of their world and its relationship to the world of others
- Ability to express themselves in their own unique way through Art, Music, Dance, Group Time, Games and Free Play
- Healthy development of a variety of motor skills & development skills • Ability to communicate with adults & peers
